Web Page Integrity Monitoring & CRC Checking using PageMon Feature
The PageMon Feature is a web-based script that runs regular checks of selected web pages to monitor their integrity on a permanent basis. This feature is enabled from the Webamatics User account (you need to be a Registered User to make use of it). It works as follows:
User takes a snapshot of the page you want to monitor (currently only one page per website can be monitored)
The monitoring starts automatically and performs daily checks
When the selected page is modified, an alert is sent to the website owner
Alerts are sent on daily basis until another snapshot is taken, or modifications are undone, or the PageMon feature is deactivated from User Account.

This feature is 100% free and is available to Registered Users only.

What is the PageMon Feature needed for?
Any webmaster running a website, or, in a more difficult case, a group of sites, is exposed to a risk that someone may interfere in the webpages and change the web content without his knowledge. This can be due to many reasons:
Your hoster may have blocked your site, due to bandwith limits or other reasons, and an Error message appears instead of your index page. The only way to see it is to open your website every day to check. It is not detected by usual Ping or SiteUP tools, as the Error page, in some cases, returns a valid 200 Code in page headers.
You may accidentally change your page, for example, by loading an older or wrong version through FTP. If changes are about just a couple of links or words, you may not be able to notice it immediately.
Worse case - your website (or, speaking more correctly, your hosting server) was hacked, and your defaced page now contains something that you would not want your visitors to see. This can be anything, from a simple hack group advertisement or slogan, which you will see at once, to more serious and well-hidden things, like when your page contains a small Iframe Tag, loading an alien page from another website, which may contain a paid advertisement, or collect clicks from your visitors, or even launch a virus to attack the visitor's computer.
